देवाचिये द्वारीं उभा क्षणभरी ।
तेणें मुक्ति चारी साधियेल्या ॥१॥

हरि मुखें म्हणा हरि मुखें म्हणा ।
पुण्याची गणना कोण करी ॥२॥

असोनि संसारीं जिव्हे वेगु करी ।
वेदशास्त्र उभारी बाह्या सदा ॥३॥

ज्ञानदेव म्हणे व्यासाचिया खुणा ।
द्वारकेचा राणा पांडवां घरीं ॥४॥

Oh thou evening of late spring
What is that I see on your lips
I see an inherent lovely celestial bloom

Oh pretty one tell me
Thou graceful one that descended from the heavens

I have done penance for an entire age, to see you but once
Now the passed time, the withered flowers have bloomed again

You have risen like a song in my otherwise mute mind
You have softly plucked the strings of my heart

Bright fireflies have descended the petals of flowers
Waves reverberate in the river of love

You have poured the honey of hope into the water of my soul
A multitude of feelings arises deep in my heart.
